About This Event
Event Description:
This event attempts to serve the notion of creating a bridge between contemporary artistic conceptions and neuroscience. This necessitated the creation of a documentary art video, which projects the relevant views from the artists’ attitudes.
For this reason, we asked a few artists, from different fields from all around the world, to answer a simple question: “What is brain?,” which is a direct way to demonstrate, how artists perceive the brain.
This noncommercial video with all interviews will be composed and edited by the visual artist Stavros Panagiotakis (Special Teaching Staff, School of Visual and Applied Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, http://www.stavros-panagiotakis.net). The preliminary documentary video was presented at the virtual social hour of the 29th HSfN meeting, Saturday 9th October 2021.
On the 21st of May 2022, the documentary will be presented to the public for the first time. A discussion with the participants will follow the presentation. There will be a zoom link available for the online attendance of the event.
