About This Event
Event Description:
The Faculty of Medicine of Ciudad Real (University of Castilla-La Mancha) celebrates its tenth anniversary of “Brain Week” from March 16 to 20, 2020. Almost at the same time as the creation of the Faculty, this proposal arose with the aim of showing the public the research carried out on the brain in an informative way, with talks given by scientists from the campus itself and from other highly prestigious universities/research centres. Focused in the first instance on High
schools, this idea has been growing and accommodating a very diverse public thanks to the numerous activities that have been included in the program. It is a very special celebration, which is why an infographic has been included, which includes some of the most outstanding
data, as shown below.
In this tenth celebration, different, innovative and creative activities will be organized in the Faculty, in the “Antiguo Casino of Ciudad Real” and in the “Hospital of Ciudad Real”. These activities are focused on the education and stimulation of the knowledge of the brain for people of all ages. Therefore, the scope of the activities includes schools, secondary education institutes, undergraduate and doctorate students and the general public.
