Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
We had a lecture for 4 different topics, as an Introduction to human brain, function of various parts of thw brain, and stroke and prevention of head and brain injury. Before this we had consent to distribute a questionnaire related to brain and function. Then the program was followed with a documentary show related to – Epilepsy; https://ibro.org/fighting-spirits-in-nepal/ present in IBRO website which was made by our Nepal team. Again the questionnaire was distributed for a post test evaluation. At the end we had a brain bee quiz contest among the students, selected the top scorers and they were awarded from our team and school principal.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
The students were motivated to learn about human brain facts. They developed a positive attitude towards learning medical sciences in future. The knowledge they obtained from the documentary show they will share with their parents and friends in the society to increase knowledge of this disease condition.
