Brain Injury Voices organized and delivered a free workshop at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland for brain injury survivors and their families. The title was Returning to Life after Brain Injury. The goal was to show survivors numerous ways to engage in life after brain injury. We wanted to demonstrate that even though it’s often not possible to return to one’s old life after brain injury, it is still possible to live a happy, meaningful and productive life.
