Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The BAW opened at our Centre in Abuja, Ikeja and Lekki with an Open House where schools, students and parents came in to be briefed about the importance of the Brain. This is followed by media appearances on National Radio and TV reaching over 1.5m people. The 30 minute TV program on African Independent Television is excerpted and annexed to this report.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
Participation has increased the number of enquiries we received from the public. On the day of the TV appearance for instance, we received over 300 telephone calls asking questions and receiving eye-opening answers from our team.

Closer support from DANA in terms of the materials to be used should be communicated earlier. For instance, we were not aware of all the downloadable materials we could have used.
