Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

Description We setup 2 information tables at separate locations in our community. These were visited by a number of people. Objective The create awareness and provide material on brain research and how important it is to really think about our brain and how it functions and how we can look after it. Planning Activities The independent school had participated in a colouring activity and gave all students a pencil with a brain eraser. They were a huge hit with the children. Future Plans We will have a person at each table so that we can interact with the visitors and answer any questions that they have. This will also help us understand how effective the event is.
