Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
We facilitated a 1.5 hour workshop dedicated to How the Brain Works and daily practices to support mind/body/spirit well being. This workshop was part of a larger Christian Leadership Conference. BAW materials provided excellent support of brain anatomy and basic brain functioning. Participants were able to take these resources home for future reference.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
BAW provided a useful kit of resources that communicated clear messaging about the brain and its key role in body functioning. My participants were grateful to have something to take home. The visuals are very useful!
Please share any suggestions or lessons learned that may help others plan future events:
I discovered BAW relatively late in the year. So, it just so happened I was invited to participate at a conference and was going to be talking about cognition. Therefore, the BAW support was timely and relevant. I felt it showed a global concern and awareness about brain education. I encourage participants to use the logos with all company material.
