Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Community Brain Expo: Families, students, and teachers are invited to test, trick, and learn about their brain at the third annual Community Brain Expo. The Brain Expo, by Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute, features demonstrations by scientists and activities for all ages. 150 people attended and visited up to 8 tables of activities. Celebrain An outreach effort by Columbia Univeristy undergraduates who engage passersby in brain science. They had a crowd around their table for the whole afternoon of their program.
