Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Worked with my workplace, who agreed to offer a formal education class for employees on Brain Awareness to enter a brain themed raffle. Offered literature to patients and professionals during the week, and participated in International Purple Day a week later to keep Brain Awareness Week going at one site with 15 people wearing purple for a site picture.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
Engaged a new community agency in brain awareness and they took that to their patients, who have had more specific questions and we were able to give them more resources on their journey.

Starting early is best, especially when getting the larger organization involved.
