Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Kindergarden Ploče organised workshop for 20 preschool children “How does the brain work?”. Children had a chance to explore models of the brain, got basic information about our senses, drew , did brain gym. They had fun, but also learned basic facts about our nervous system. During BAW, 40 preschool children were also included in Quizomania in Kindergarden Ploce. They had to solve different kind of problems; visuo-perceptual, logical, mathematical… Since they did quizzes in groups, they also worked together, agreed upon their answers, tolerated mistakes. Learning through play was very enjoyable and interesting.
