Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Alzheimer’s Symposium March 16, 2018 This Symposium was a wonderful event to bring education and awareness to Brain Awareness. It was held at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. There were many professionals as well as family members in attendance. There were multiple break out sessions regarding the brain. One of which I instructed. The topic was “Brain Wellness”. I achieved my goal by reaching a large audience. They engaged in cognitive activities during the breakout session – doing left / right brain activities with bean bags.
