Cinema debate (Forum)Aim: To stimulate student participation in the Escuela Superior Actopan of Psychology in the area of dissemination of culture, through the projection of films, proposed activities to be carried out within the framework of the Brain Week at the Escuela Superior Actopan, with the aim of understanding cinema as a form of teaching, while at the same time being a transmitter of information and general culture.Abue’s Memory -Workshop: Evaluation of memory in adults of the third age Aim: Identify the different types of memory as well as, the changes that occur in the older adult, by demonstration and application of neuropsychological tests for the purpose of interpreting the results and giving a diagnosis.Brain Marathon (Knowledge rally)Aim: To evaluate and strengthen the knowledge of the following subjects: Biological processes of behavior, Basic psychological processes and psychophysiology of students of the degree in psychology.¿What’s with your brain? (Exhibition)Aim: To present to the students of the sixth semester of the Escuela Superior Actopan high school program, myths and realities of the brain, in order to raise awareness about mental health and to be part of the international week of the brain.¿What’s the brain like? (Exhibition) Aim: To stimulate the student participation of the degree in Psychology of the Escuela Superior Actopan in the area of dissemination of knowledge, through the presentation of anatomical models of the brain and be part of the international week of the brain.The activities are considered to have fulfilled their aims, since, in the participation of the attendees, the interest in knowing more about the topics could be identified.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
One of the results obtained was the interest of the students in neuroscience, specifically in neuropsychology. Likewise, the interest in knowing more about brain and cognitive functioning arose.

Something that works within the activities were playful activities, since the interaction between teacher and student is reinforced, benefiting the interest in knowing more about neuroscience.
