This year we celebrated the 24th Brain Awareness Week in Kusadası-Turkey. BAW was held in this school under the coordination of Prof. Ferhan Esen. Prof. Ferhan Esen made a presentation on “Our Brain and Neurons”, “Our Brain”, “Our Brain and Our Nervous System” via Zoom to Private Naci Akdogan College Preschool, Primary and Secondary School teachers on February, 21, 22, and 23. The teachers were informed about the brain and nervous system and their questions were answered. Informed later, the teachers organized activities for their students during the BAW-2022. Ebru Oral and her students started their preparations for the painting exhibition to be held for BAW on March 1, 2022. “According to me my brain” exhibition was open between 14-25 March 2022 as part of BAW. Preschool teachers of Private Naci Akdogan College made the children aware of the brain’s importance and its protection. Primary School teachers of Private Naci Akdogan College explained our brain and its functions in accordance with the students’ levels. They made the children aware of the brain’s importance and its protection. Middle School Science teachers of Private Naci Akdogan College taught middle school students about the brain and its functions at a higher level. They emphasized that our brain should be protected and the healthy effects of fresh air, oxygen, walking outdoors and afforestation on our brains. They made the students aware of the brain’s importance and its protection. Chess Teacher organized a chess tournament among students during the BAW-2022. The last activity was directed by Burcin Orhon (Turkey’s famous dance teacher). All participants danced accompanied by Burcin Orhon.
