Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

In this brain week FACISALUD 2021 celebration, we had three conferences, a workshop and a ludic activity, and social media campaign of information about brain in the web page. National and international speakers participated. The talks were streamed through the continuing education channel of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences Facebook page. On Tuesday 16 March 2021, PhD. Clemens Bauer of Northeastern University Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Complex (ISEC) presented his lecture entitled “Meditation and it´s neuroplastic effects on the healthy and pathological brain”; on Wednesday 17 March 2021 the MsC. Rosa Elia Rubí Bernal from the Centro de Investigación en Ciencias Cognitivas, Universidad Autónoma de Morelos shared her lecture entitled “The brain in networks: the dictionary of the mind, on Thursday March 18, 2021 PhD. Fernanda Pérez Gay-Juárez from Neurophilosophy Lab McGill University shared with us her lecture entitled “Does the brain have gender? The risks of neurosexism”; and, on Friday 19 March the MSc. Fabiola García Martínez gave a workshop entitled “Creativity and Neuroeducation”. Our public was national and international. Our winner of the first prize in the ludic activity was from the city of Puebla in the center of the country. People write us e mails saying they enjoy a lot the activities.
