I used the materials over several weeks to introduce both Academically Gifted and struggling readers to the concepts of brain plasticity. We read informational texts (both those provided through DANA and other vetted sites) Students worked through the Mindbogglers materials, played the games, visited other internet locations that included games and information.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?

It supported student understanding of brain plasticity, the complexity of the brain, care and feeding of the brain. We were definitely at an awareness level and building/correcting misinformation.
