Semana Mundial do Cérebro – Prof. Henrique Schützer Del Nero Date of event March 15, 2018 Local of event Universidade Federal Fluminense Instituto do Noroeste Fluminense de Educação Superior E-mail: profdanielpaiva@gmail.com Organized by: TECGroup.com (Technology, Education and Cognition) and PELC (Programa Esporte e Lazer da Cidade – City Sport and Recreation Program), with the macro organization of SBNeC (Sociedade Brasileira de Neurociências e Comportamento – Brazilian Society of Neurosciences and Behavior), an integral part of Brain Awareness Week (BAW 2017) released by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives around the world. The event name is in memory of Professor Henrique Schützer Del Nero. The first activity was a presentation made by professor Daniel Costa de Paiva about the local event history and the production and researches done by professor Del Nero. The other issues addressed included: (i) mental challenges with games and activities that exercise logical reasoning; (ii) didactic resources developed; (iii) ongoing teacher training activities for the use of technology in classroom; (iv) video production for teacher training. The discussions held in this event were mostly about the teaching process, the development and use of diversified and differentiated tools to facilitate the process of knowledge construction by the students, as well as the education and training of teachers able to incorporate, consciously, didactic resources. Of the needs for the implementation of the teaching process and teaching positions is necessary so that the proposal of tools and procedures can take place more efficiently and effectively.
