Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
FHC conducted a Healthy Brain Awareness campaign for the week. Each day, we posted a Healthy Brain post on all of our corporate social media accounts, and then held an associated activity for our employees and the children in our onsite daycare facility. Employees were able to partcipate by eating free brain-healthy snack foods, participating in guided meditation or a fitness class. Children learned lessons about the parts of the brain, conducted in Jello “brain surgery,” participated in a yoga session and made other brain crafts.
