Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Sunday 13th March Church Service it was live on the radio and internet. Special recognition to the 15 finalist and parents. Our quiz master Dr. Walcott-Bedeau share on Stress and link to the brain. We had about 350/400 hundred person present. We then had a brain awareness walk in the evening. We were able to share flyers and pamphlets with the community and even answer questions about Brain Bee Challenge. We had an open forum for the community on the Thursday evening where we had a one on one with a Doctor about the Brain. We had radio and television programs about the Brain and Brain Bee Challenge and Brain Awareness Week. Over all we had very good attendance to all of the events and Brain Awareness Week was now known in all house hold in our Country. People was now more aware of the Brain Bee Challenge and reviews was that they now know something about the Brain that they never knew before. We had a greater turn out of persons to the final Brain Bee Challenge than last year.
