Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
While our event was held online due to physical distancing restrictions, we hosted “Brain Training on Trial” as part of our Psychology on Tap series. We had about 50 students and staff from across our university joining the event, exploring important issues around brain health and the development of interventions to slow or reduce age-related cognitive changes. We also continued to promote positive brain health messages throughout the week (Twitter @TheAgeingLab; www.healthyageing.hw.ac.uk).
