Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

Our students had a table with my brain materials that I’ve gathered for my classes. They taught a mnemonic song to remember parts and functions of the brain. They also handed out the Dana literature and handouts which participants loved! This year, as adviser, I was disappointed to be out sick the week of the event (I was on temporary disability for 2 months this school year) so I didn’t get the photos I was hoping for – students were too busy managing the booth and making sure students didn’t litter or stick the BAW stickers around campus.
