Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

From 2020, our institute provided the national coordination of the series of BAW events from the Hungarian Neuroscience Society, which includes the continuous maintenance and updating of the official www.agykutatashete.hu website, and online-offline marketing activities with a nationwide coverage that uniformly present and represent all venues and other Universities organizing Brain Awareness Week. Prior to the series and during the official program week, we had a total of 41 media appearances nationwide, featured on M5 TV channel (Hungarian Public Television), Radio Kossuth (Hungarian Public Radio), 24.hu (leading online news portal in Hungary) and several other regional media. Our Institute has successfully won a grant of 1000 EUR from DANA Foundation this year, which amount was used to cover the cost of program recordings and digital post-production. Due to the current pandemic, we implemented our programs online in line with current trends. To prevent possible technical errors, our presentations and round table talks were pre-recorded and then published on the official, nationwide Brain Awareness Week Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSXkAItnTJ2kE5xK5L1FzwlUl4dVoum_M). We published 1-1 video every day except on Saturday, when we uploaded 3 videos. The national program series achieved a total of 9,150 views on Youtube during the official program week, of which 7,729 views are related to our programs (organized by ITD in Pécs). Our most viewed lecture with 5279 views was also organized by ITD (Mind of the Criminal). The viewing of the audience is continuous even after the end of the program week, during which we find that the reach of the PTE programs is constantly increasing.
