Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
I have recently become the administrator for a neuroscience society. This was our first BAW event. I launched a social media campaign via the Society’s Twitter account, which I manage. We have close to 800 followers consisting of a very active neuroscience community. The posts were liked and reteeted. I had originally intended to recruit early career stage society members – students, postdocs etc to participate in a group BAW activity ie., lesson plan, blogging etc along with me but I was unable to do so for this year. I’m hoping that future attempts will be more successful.
