Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The Korean Brain Society and Korea Brain Research Institute organized nationwide BAW events throughout the week of March 13~19. 11 universities, 1 research institute, and 2 brain research societies have participated. The events were held 8 major cities of South Korea and at leat 3116 childen and adults joind the events in the forms of lectures, symposium, exhibits, lab tour etc. The events were to let general public recognize the importance of the brain research in many angles and we believed that our goal was clearly achieved.
