Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The Korean Brain Society and Korea Brain Research Institute organized nationwide BAW events throughout the week of March 11~17. 13 universities, 1 research institute, and 2 brain research societies have participated. The events were held 9 cities of South Korea and more than 3000 students and adults joined the events in the forms of lectures, symposium, lab tour etc. The events were to let then general public recognize the importance of the brain research in many angles and we believed that our goal was clearly achieved.
