Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
A total of 14 universities and research institutes hosted a variety of day-long conferences during the BAW. Topics ranged from neuropsychiatric disorders, pain and brain imaging to cutting-edge neurotechnology and artificial intelligence. Various seminars were designed and open to all audiences but high school students were the majority. In several medical schools, show-and-tell with pathological and anatomical samples were also performed.
