Event: Understanding Stroke and Learning Brain Boosters Objective: To increase awareness of stroke To learn ways to boost brain functions. Met goals: The Virginian-Pilot Newspaper, Norfolk, VA reported on highlights of the event which reached a wide audience.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
Awareness!! Most people in the audience were age 40 and older. Some are care-givers. 2 new members have joined our club because of news event. This event, along with other initiatives, supports the tenets of Pilot International.
