Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
I present a brief lecture “From Neuron to Brain” in turkish to elemantary school students. The brief lecture includes brain regions, spinal cord, neuron shapes, our 5 sensory organs, sudoku, labirent exercises, puzzles for children. After the lecture elemantary school students recceived a pencil, a brain shaped eraser, a working book in Turkish and a certificate of participation. I present this lecture two times in two various schools. “Idea Akademi” and “Marmara University Elemantary School”. Additionally, an exercise with 5 years old elemantary school students were made. We paste neurons with synaptic clefts and make a giant synaptic transmission. It was excellent.
