Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

The SUPERA had huge success in the BAW campaign. Through actions such as media inserts, in-person events such as lectures and awareness conferences, and strong work online, the SUPERA reached many people. Through only posts on Facebook, reached 50,000 people during the week. In the media, we had 6 appearances on television, in newspapers printed 4, 7 on Web sites, and 2 on the radio, one being live. Thus, we are confident that we have reached our goal, which was to raise awareness as much as possible of people on the research of the brain, which is fully aligned with the objectives of our own course, which aims to cognitive development. Being a franchise network, our capillarity is very large, so we were able to run some live events. The SUPERA believes strongly that we could do more and better with the Dana Foundation, and despite the excellent results this year, we know that our potential together is much greater. Facebook was certainly a very successful tool, since the hand labor required is very low as compared to the results it brings. The use of media releases was also very effective, as we had 19 inserts.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?

It certainly was a week in which the SUPERA had much prominence in the media, bringing many visitors to our sites, and also taking students to enroll in our course.

We leave as a suggestion, the action we do on Facebook and brought a good result. A week before BAW, we prepared a video with our president inviting everyone to follow the series of special posts that we had prepared for the BAW. We made 7 posts containing 7 tips for brain health.
