The symposium program included public Lecture, keynote lectures, workshops, presentations by applicants, and a poster session (with a Poster Prize) as well as an MBB Young Scientist Award. The public lecture took place on 15th of March and Wolfgang Prinz (Leipzig) gave a lecture on “What it takes to explain consciousness”. The keynote speakers were Catherine Tallon-Baudry (Paris), Radoslaw Martin Cichy (Berlin), Maria Herrojo Ruiz (London), Melanie Wilke (Göttingen) and Carsten Finke (Berlin). The 2 winners of 2018 were Dorottya Lantos (University of London) and Marina Kliuchko (Aarhus University).
