Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Neurodiversity Education Academy gave a workshop on “Introduction to Executive Functions in the Classroom” for teachers of Equal Bright School in Indonesia and La Vertice School in the Philippines. It was a free workshop for these two schools who are participating in the Neurodiversity – Friendly Schools Program that was facilitated by the Neurodiversity Education Academy. Teachers were given a 90 minute online workshop on the importance of executive functioning in the classrooms.

The participation with Brain Awareness Week provided us with visibility and the consistency of participating in BAW for the past few years have given us credibility in the field.

With the activities done entirely online, it is easier to reach schools that need more support. Our suggestion is to consider expanding the scope of impact by targeting schools and organisations that are from developing countries.
