Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Neuroscience Society of Turkey made a press release on BAW distributed by Ege Ajans to 3000 news and media outlets of Turkey. Professor Piraye Kervancioglu and Professor Mustafa Orhan organized BAW activities in Gaziantep with laboratory tours to Gaziantep University Medical School Anatomy Lab for Servi Erdemoğlu Middle School and Ya-Pa Children’s Club students. Each group consisting of 3-5 students, and medical school and dentistry school students accompanying them, students learned how the brain works, made paintings of the brain, and inspected brain models. Then, they were informed and made discussions on brain health,and how to keep our brains healthy..
