Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
We conducted numerous age-appropriate brain lessons at local elementary, middle, and high school including Make Your Own Neuron, Brain Tricks, and Sheep Brain Dissections. Our goals continue to be to encourage interests and passion for neuroscience in our community. By growing and expanding to more rural areas, we increased our reach this year by 44 classrooms and almost 500 students.

Feedback from the schools and teachers has been overwhelmingly positive. Two more schools were added from 2018 to 2019 with two more out-of-district schools requesting future demonstrations.
