NOVA Medical School regularly celebrates the worldwide events related to the scientific research areas to which it is dedicated, namely biomedical and chronic diseases, in an initiative called “D Days of Science CEDOC – NMS”. The main objectives of this initiative are to disseminate the science developed at NMS, the way it is carried out and the professionals involved, while contributing to the scientific literacy of the population. As such, the contents are always prepared in simple and clear language, targeting the lay public in the biomedical field. These contents are disseminated on the social networks of the Chronic Diseases Research Centre (CEDOC) and NOVA Medical School (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube), and are associated with complementary information on the CEDOC website (http: //cedoc.unl. pt / dias-d-da-ciencia-da-nms /).
