Feedback & Keys to Success

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?

It served as an avenue for publicizing the school as well as intimating the local community about the need for brain health. My most enjoyed immediate outcome is having parents call me to tell me how excited their kids were, having learnt the basic parts of the brain and their functions. Hence, their hunger to become a neuroscientist.

Please share any suggestions or lessons learned that may help others plan future events:

Provision of refreshments: it’s important to provide your participants with refreshments as this in most rural communities will enhance the number of participants.
