Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
5th graders at Bright Elementary school had an additional science hour during BAW. They talked about the brain and enjoyed the the activities I printed from the site. My objective was to introduce and make them aware of how important their brain is. I kicked off my Brain Health Seminar Series with a presentation of Your Brain on Aging and Health. The audience were older adults and my objective was to educate them on the aging changes in their brains and introduce the Healthy Brain Lifestyle. This presentation really resonates with my audiences.
