Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

We are an independent living retirement community. We had a Brain awareness lecture planned as well as two brain game activities, and a chair yoga class focusing on meditation mantras. At the end of the month, we held a fun jukebox bingo event challenging their brains with old school tunes! Unfortunately, we had a GI bug circulating throughout our facility and we were put under quarantine for the majority of March. so our lecture was postponed until next month and the brain games was canceled. We were able to hold our meditation mantra class as well as jukebox bingo.
