Psicologia ComCiência is a Brazilian scientific outreach collective on Instagram focused on evidence-based communication of psychological knowledge and underlying areas. During the days of Brain Awareness Week, our intent was to publish diverse topics about the Social Brain focusing on scientific communication. In total, 6 publications were to spread the Brain Awareness Week and also publications on the following topics: the social brain, activities to stimulate the social brain and its abilities, neuromyths linked to social behavior, and the development of Theory Of Mind (TOM) in children.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
Considering that our participation in Brain Awareness Week was online/virtual, the measure of local beneficent is impossible. On the other hand, we can think of the impact and the outcomes of virtual interactions, observing, for example, likes, shares, and comments on Instagram account. As so, we consider those interactions as the immediate response to our job.
