Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
We organized two awareness raising activities in social networks (whatsapp and facebook groups) and through radio.The title of the activity is: “Awareness week on the role of the brain in the vision system”.We have shared short written and voicemail messages and a few videos that speak to our topic.The objective was to awaken the collective community memory on the essential role that the brain plays in the functioning of the organism in general and in the vision system in particular.We recorded relevant feedback, which demonstrated that the activity attracted community attention.

Awareness week is an interesting activity however Dana Foundation should provide material support even for those outside the United States.
