Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The exhibition “Manic VR A Virtual Journey through the Phases of Bipolar Disorder” reached 192 visitors who could experience the VR project (maximum workload). More than 50 people who didn’t get a timeslot during the week. It was amazing to see the need of the society to talk and learn more about psychiatric disorders. We didn’t aspect to get such a high resonance in terms of visitors, feedback and press covering. The accompanying lecture “Bipolar An Evening of Lectures on Manic-Depressive Disorders” was fully booked and here, as well, an immense demand to talk about the topic and to exchange about current treatments and expieriences in handling the disease .

The Berlin Brain Awareness Team, namely collaborations between Bernstein Zentrum für Computational Neuroscience Berlin, Centrum für Schlaganfallforschung Berlin, Einstein-Zentrum für Neurowissenschaften Berlin and Exzellenzcluster NeuroCure was extremly helpul in spreading the information about all events planned.
