Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
As president of the newly formed Serbian Brain Council I organized an open panel “Advocacy in neuroscience” with colleagues from the Executive board. The visit although organized was modest but the discussion was lively. Also as the head of Center for laser microscopy at the Faculty of Biology I organized lab visits for students and high school pupils. I also gave a talk with my PhD student Stefan Stamenkovic. “Use of synchrotron light in neurobiology”.

We made the first public appearence of the Serbian Brain Council. The public could learn about the efforts to promote the significance of the research in neuroscience.
