Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
We ran 2 workshops consecutively – the first was a 3-day workshop entitled ‘How to be a Brain Friendly Trainer’. The objective of this workshop is to transform the training design and delivery of independent trainers and L&D professionals. We use neuroscience and brain friendly techniques in this fully immersive workshop to help apply the tools in a practical manner, giving participants time to work on their own projects, present and get live feedback. The second was called ‘Neuroscience for Learning and Development Masterclass’ – This was ideal for people who already have at least a basic knowledge of brain friendly learning to build on their techniques and give new insights in psychology and new ideas on how to apply neuroscience in real life learning situations. It’s also fully interactive and participants work on new ways to back up what they’re already doing well in order to convince budget holders the value of really good learning.
