Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The Brain Awareness Week events comprised of 4 faculty virtual lectures on neuroscience topics directed towards an undergraduate college student audience. This event then promoted the activities of the SUNY Old Westbury Nu Rho Psi Chapter Epsilon and Rutgers University Chapter Beta collaborative work in hosting the 2nd Annual Advancing Cross-Disciplinary Outreach in the Neurosciences (AXON) conference that was held virtually. The AXON conference has promoted the active engagement, participation, and presentation of undergraduate neuroscience research for this years theme of the Brain-Gut Interaction.
