Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
SUPERA is a franchise chain with more than 400 brain fitness schools across Brazil. Our students do different exercises and dynamics to improve cognitive and socioemotional performance. We understand that brain health is an issue for the entire population, and with the spread of COVID-19, the need to care for the brain and build a cognitive reserve is becoming increasingly clear. With that in mind, SUPERA had an online event through Youtube and Facebook, which was disseminated to all of our students and through all of our social media. We had the presence of 2 experts on the subject and we hope to shed some light on this very important issue. There was no charges to attend the live event. The 2 experts who shared their knowledge were: Dr. Adalberto Studart Neto, who works with Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology and is a Assistant Dr. at Hospital das Clínicas, FMUSP; and Dr. Monica Sanches Yassuda, a researcher and professor in the area of Psychology of Aging, who works at EACH USP. The event had more than 18.000 views on the very day and now has more than 25.000 views.
