Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Two lectures. The first was on cognitive foundations for learning. The objective was to introduce the topics of attention, memory, auditory and visual processing, logic & reasoning and processing speed as foundation skills for academics. The second was to discuss the teenage brain and brain development. There was also an accompanying 2 part blog.
