Our online webinar, “It’s Time to Brain Play!,” was an interactive livestream promoted to active aging communities across the US and Canada via our direct outreach and partnership with Touchtown USA (a resident engagement platform). Acts Retirement-Life Communities residents participated to demonstrate easy, fun workouts we can all use to boost everyday thinking. Over 200 communities enrolled to livestream or share a recording of the event, with an estimated reach of 1500+ active older adults. An attendee packet was provided for distribution to extend the impact to all registered communities.

Feedback & Keys to Success

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?

We have been partners and promoters of BAW for many years. We encourage our partner companies to use the event to raise awareness for brain health, and have seen uptake among many of them over time. Many use our event or our training materials to host their own event in celebration.

Please share any suggestions or lessons learned that may help others plan future events:

Please provide more materials appropriate for an older audience!
