Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
UNAM, along with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Mi Casa es Puebla Los Angeles, offered two lectures on the structure of the brain and the importance of taking care of it. The target audience was kids from elementary school. After the two lectures, UNAM offered six workshops that allowed students to learn about the human senses and how our brain can play us tricks.
