Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The main idea behind this initiative was to spread the importance of scientific literacy and education in the modern society, showing neuroscience as a discipline that always accompany and help us in our daily journey. Thus, BAW UNIFESP 2018 offered workshops in “The Sense Organs”, “Gross and Microscopic Brain Anatomy”, “Cognition and Memory” and “How do you Picture to Be Your Brain?” BAW UNIFESP was organized by the Molecular Neurobiology Lab and the Glicobiology Lab; with the support of Escola Paulista de Medicina da Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Câmara de Pós-graduação e Pesquisa, Programa de Pós Graduação em Biologia Molecular, Sociedade Brasileira de Neurociências e Comportamento (SBNeC) and Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC)
