Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Originally our event was going to include guest lectures from neurologists, as well as brain games and handouts. Due to COVID-19, our event had to be less hands-on. I made an exhibit board featuring the various parts of the brain and what they do, how the brain communicates, and how memory is stored. On the table with the exhibit board were pamphlets on mental health, Alzheimer’s disease, booklets from the Dana Foundation, and puzzles.
