Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

During the Brain Awareness Week 2015 we have organized a Second National Conference with international participation titled: Human Machine Interface from Student-to-Student Interface (HMI from SSI’15), held on Mar 20 2015 at the School of Electrical Engineering. Program included invited lectures, poster sessions, interactive presentations and demonstrations. This year’s conference continued its tradition of being the forum for presentation of research results and experience reports aimed to motivate students, clinical partners and biomedical companies for technical aspects of neuroscience in particular. Finally, the overall goal was to improve the awareness of science and brain research in society at large. The conference gathered participants from universities and academic research institutions, and partners from the clinics for neurology and rehabilitation. Attending students were from University of Belgrade: School of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, and Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. This year joint program also included the Pre-Conference Workshop “Current and Future Applications of Non-invasive and Invasive BCIs” organized by g.tec (Austria) and BMIT (Mar 19) and popular scientific demonstration “The brain waves during music listening” at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Mar 21)
