Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
My Curious Brain was held all throughout the seven days credited to this event. It comprised of 8 lectures and 8 workshops with approximately 500 participants. This event was a premiere for its hosting institution.Therefore, it was highly visible online via Facebook – totaling approximately 1000 likes – & WordPress. The events included several main stream entitled. Some examples in this respect are the following lectures and workshops: “Mind traps: uncovering cognitive errors”; “Rewiring your brain through positive thinking: Cognitive restructuring games”; “Curious case studies from neuroscience” . Given the high visibility of “My Curious Brain” and its main stream topics we can definitely state that the participants have a better understanding of what FENS and Brain Awareness Week represents.
